A handful of stocks are entering or about to enter the worrisome so-called death cross. A death cross can also be indicative of a forthcoming bear market pattern. Intel Intel disappointed Wall Street's first-quarter expectations last week, when it posted a beat in earnings per share but came up light in revenue. McDonald's McDonald's has also drawn a death cross. CVS Health Unlike the other two names, CVS Health is nearing a death cross.

I tried Chili's Big Smasher burger, the chain's first new burger in three years. She told BI the market is saturated with vegan options, making purely vegan restaurants obsolete. AdvertisementThis as-told-to essay is based on a conversation with Mollie Englehart, executive chef at Sage Regenerative Kitchen & Brewery in California. Last month, Englehart announced that her restaurants, which were called Sage Vegan Bistro, would now offer meat, dairy, and eggs to customers. It's almost like everybody adding a vegan option makes the vegan restaurant obsolete because there's no need for it. It's not just an epidemic of vegan restaurants closing; I think for restaurants post-pandemic, it was generally really hard to recover.

I then created my own business, teaching others how to make money from focus groups. I noticed that I was consistently bringing in $2,000 to $3,000 a month from focus groups alone, so I eventually transitioned to concentrate solely on doing focus groups. The best free ways to find focus groups are by searching "focus groups near me" or "taste tests near me" on Google, Craigslist, and social media. They were reputable companies with a huge volume of focus groups, so things probably slipped through the cracks.

Fast-food franchisees in California fear diners will flock to Chili's and Applebee's to avoid price hikes. As a result, the price gap between fast-food and casual dining restaurants could narrow. This could potentially cause the price difference between fast-food and casual dining restaurants to shrink. Fast-food restaurants in California have been hiking prices to offset the wage, which is 25% above the state's general minimum wage.
